Mariah Carey was in Miami over the weekend kicking it in the studio with JD, DJ Khaled and Rick Ross. You k now, since Rick reportedly is banned from traveling--doctor's orders! Though deets are scarce about what they were working on, Rick is expected to announce a new single and release date for his album God Forgives, I Don’t very soon.

And of course, whatever they created could appear on Mariah's follow-up to 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. In other Mimi news, she'll fly to Paris later this month to celebrate her wedding anniversary and her twins' birthdays before her show in Ischgl, Austria, on April 30.

She tweeted, "very excited to celebrate #dembabies first birthday in a week, I can't even believe it's been a year.. wow!!!"

And by the way, Mrs. Cannon is featured in People Magazine’s “2012 Most Beautiful” issue. Mariah lost 30 pounds on Jenny following the birth of her twins, and she's looking fab.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
