Hotuba ya Balozi Seif kufunga mkutano wa nane wa Baraza la wawakilishi

HOTUBA YA MAKAMU WA PILI WA RAIS WA ZANZIBAR, MHE. BALOZI
SEIF ALI IDDI KATIKA UFUNGAJI WA MKUTANO WA NANE WA BARAZA LA NANE LA WAWAKILISHI, ZANZIBAR TAREHE 10 AGOSTI, 2012

MAKAMU wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar Balozi 
Seif Ali Iddi, akisoma hutuba ya kufunga Kikao
 cha Bajeti kwa mwaka 2012/2013 bada ya kupitisha 
Bajeti za Wizara za Serekali ya Mapinduzi Zanzibar.
1.Mheshimiwa Spika, awali ya yote napenda kumshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kutujaalia uzima, afya njema na kutujaalia amani na utulivu katika Taifa letu. 

Naomba pia nikushukuru wewe binafsi Mheshimiwa Spika, kwa busara zako za kuweza kuliendesha Baraza lako Tukufu kwa umakini na mafanikio makubwa. 

Pia nawashukuru na kuwapongeza Naibu Spika na Wenyeviti wote kwa namna wanavyokusaidia

Mheshimiwa Spika katika kuliongoza Baraza hili. Vile vile, nawashukuru Wenyeviti na Wajumbe wa Kamati mbali mbali za kudumu kwa kazi zao nzuri wanazozifanya katika kufuatilia utekelezaji wa Taasisi mbali mbali za Serikali na kufanikisha mkutano huu.

2. Mheshimiwa Spika, Mkutano huu wa Nane wa Baraza la nane umekuwa wa kihistoria katika nchi yetu kutokana na mashirikiano makubwa ya Viongozi na Wajumbe wa Baraza na Watendaji wa Taasisi za Serikali. Nawashukuru wote na naomba tuendelee na mashirikiano haya mazuri.

3. Mheshimiwa Spika, kwa namna ya kipekee napenda kuchukua fursa hii kumshukuru Rais wetu mpendwa Dkt. Ali Mohamed Shein, Rais wa Zanzibar na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi kwa uongozi wake wa busara, hekima na unaozingatia maslahi ya wananchi. Ni dhahiri kuwa bidii za Rais Shein zinaendelea kuzaa matunda ya maendeleo katika sekta za kiuchumi, kisiasa na kijamii.

4. Mheshimiwa Spika, vile vile niwapongeze Waheshimiwa Mawaziri kwa kuwasilisha bajeti zao vizuri na kuweza kujibu hoja mbali mbali zilizojitokeza kwa umahiri na uelewa mkubwa.

5. Mheshimiwa Spika, napenda pia niwashukuru Waheshimiwa Wawakilishi wenzangu wa Baraza lako Tukufu kwa kujadili, kudadisi na hatimae kupitisha bajeti za mapato na matumizi ya Wizara zetu. Naelewa kwamba hoja zao mbali mbali walizoziibua zilikuwa na mwelekeo mzuri na nia njema ya kuisaidia Serikali yetu ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
