EAST AFRICAN GOSPEL STAR ROSE MUHANDO SIGNS MULTI-RECORD DEAL WITH SONY MUSIC


 
 
 
Global recording company Sony Music Entertainment is proud to announce the signing of East African Gospel Star Rose Muhando to its roster of artists, which includes some of the most important recordings in history. 
 
The signing was announced at a press conference in Dares Salaam, Tanzania on the 9th February 2011, and is the first deal of its kind for East Africa.

Rose Muhando is undoubtedly one of Africa’s biggest selling and most acclaimed gospel artists, with millions of fans throughout East Africa and her home country Tanzania. The gospel diva has now been signed to a multi-album recording deal with Sony Music, and a fullservices management deal with Sony Music and ROCKSTAR4000.

Sony Music Entertainment Africa views the continent of Africa as a highly important music development frontier and believes that some of the best talent in theWorld is currently creating and performing music across the continent. Sony has set its sights on becoming the primary partner of the best Africa has to offer and has high hopes that with its assistance, African musicians can achieve new Pan African and Global success.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
