Nyota aliyetikisa Ulaya Joe Cole atangaza kusitaafu soko

Joe Cole, aliyekuwa mchezaji wa zamani wa Uingereza, ametangaza kustaafu soka akiwa na umri wa miaka 37.

Cole, ambaye amewahi kuzitumikia timu mbalimbali zikiwemo West Ham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Lille, Aston Villa, Coventry City ametangaza kustaafu leo Novemba 13, akielezea kazi yake ya mpira aliyokuwa akiifanya kwa nuda wa miaka 20 kama ‘a dream come true.’

Kustaafu kwake kumekuja mara baada ya kuitumikia timu ya Tampa Bay Rowdies kwa muda wa miaka miwili na nusu imayoshiriki ligi ya United Soccer League huko nchini Marekani.

“After 20 years of living my dream, the time has come for me to hang up my boots…” aliandika hivyo katika kurasa zake za Instagram.

Joe Cole aliwahi kushinda mataji matatu ya Ligi Kuu ya Uingereza, Mawili ya FA Cups na kufika hatua ya fainali katika michuano ya Ligi ya Mabingwa UEFA mwaka 2006.

Uganda Police issue fresh terror alert

Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba “We have received a security notification in form of an orange notice of four terrorists originating from Kazakhstan who are planning to travel to foreign countries in order to commit attacks and participate in hostile acts,” Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba said in a statement on Monday. Nabakooba named the four active members of radical organizations as; Nassiruauly Kairat, Umurzakov Marat Eskendirovich, Kovtun Denis Valerevich and Mazhibayen Alimzhan Akhlazhanovich. Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
