Miss Tanzania 2012 aanza ujenzi wa bweni la Albino Shinyanga

MREMBO wa Tanzania, Brigitte Alfred ameonyesha mfano wa kuigwa nchini katika tasnia hiyo baada ya kuanza ujenzi wa bweni la wanafunzi wenye ulemavu wa ngozi (albino) katika wilaya ya Shinyanga wanaoishi katika shule maalum ya Buhangija.

Tayari mrembo ameweka jiwe la msingi na kupandisha ukuta sambamba na kukabidhi mabati 200 kwa ajili ya kujengea paa la bweni hilo la wavulana lenye uwezo wa kulaza wanafunzi 50.

Makabidhiano hayo yalifanywa na mrembo huyo kwa katika hafla fupi iliyohudhuriwa na mkuu wa wilaya ya Shinyanga Annarose Nyamubi, afisa elimu wa manispaa ya Shinyanga Honoratha Ruhumbika na walimu wa shule hiyo wakiongozwa na mwalimu mkuu, Peter Ajali.

Briggite alisema kuwa ameamua kutimiza ahadi yake aliyoitoa mwezi Aprili mwaka huu alipotembelea Shinyanga kwa kazi za jamii na kuona changamoto za watoto wanaosoma katika shule hiyo.

Alisema kuwa mpango huo upo katika mpango wa Miss Tanzania ujulikano kwa jina la Urembo wenye malengo maalum (Beauty with Purpose) nay eye kuamua kufanya kwa vitendo.

"Ni faraja kwangu kuona kuwa ninatimiza ahadi yangu, nawashukuru wote walionisaidia ikiwa pamoja na familia yangu, na ninaomba wengine wanisaidie kwani badi kuna changamoto nyingi katika ujenzi na kazi za jamii kwa ujumla," alisema Brigitte.

Alisema kuwa amepania kuweka historia katika fani hiyo kwani anaamini ujenzi au jingo hilo litakuwa kumbukumbu kubwa kwake tena kwa vizazi na vizazi.

Brigitte pia aliwataka wanafunzi hao kutokata tamaa hata kwa wale wasiokuwa karibu na familia zao na kwamba wamtegemee zaidi Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kuwa yeye ndiye mfariji kwa wanyonge huku akiwahimiza kuzingatia zaidi elimu kwani ndiyo msingi wa maisha yao.

"Nilipata msukumo wa kuisaidia shule hii hususani katika ujenzi wa bweni hilo kutokana na ujio wake wa mwezi Aprili mwaka huu shuleni hapo na kujionea adha wanayopata watoto hao kutokana na msongamano mkubwa mabwenini," alisema.

Mkuu wa wilaya ya Shinyanga Annarose Nyamubi alimpongeza Brigitte kwa moyo huo wa kujitolea na kuwataka warembo wengine kuiga mfano wake.

Nyamubi alisema kuwa alichokifanya Brigitte ni jambo la kukumbukwa nan i msaada mkubwa kwa jamii hasa kwa watu wenye ulemabu wa ngozi.

Mkuu huyo wa wilaya aliwaomba wazazi wa watoto hao kuwa na tabia ya kuwatembelea watoto wao mara kwa mara ikiwa ni pamoja na kuwachuku wakati wa likizo.

Naye mwalimu mkuu wa shule hiyo Peter Ajali alisema kuwa shule hiyo inakabiliwa na changamoto mbalimbali ikiwemo la msongamano mabwenini kwani kuna jumla ya watoto 247 huku mabweni yaliyopo yana uwezo wa kukaa watoto 148 tu.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
