KLINIKI YA KIKAPU YA HASHEEM THABITI YAFUTWA NA TBF

KLINIKI ya mchezo wa kikapu ya Hasheem Thabeet imefutwa kwa mwaka huu na Chama cha Mpira wa Kikapu Tanzania (TBF),kutokana na mchezaji huyo wa NBA kuitwa na klabu yake huko Marekani kwenda kwenye ratiba maalum.
 
 
 
Akizungumza Dar es Salaam jana Katibu Msaidizi wa TBF Michael Maluwe, alisema kliniki hiyo imefutwa kwa mwaka huu kwa sababu Hasheem Thabeet ameitwa na klabu yake kwenye ratiba yao maalum. 
 
 
"Tumepata taarifa kutoka kwa uongozi wa Hasheem Thabeet kuwa anatakiwa kurudi nchini kwao mara moja kwenda kuendelea na ratiba yao ya kuhudhuria katika ligi kuu,"alisema Maluwe.
Maluwe alisema baada ya kumaliza ratiba hiyo ataelekea Afrika Kusini kuhudhuria Mafunzo ya Vijana wa Afrika maarufu kama Basketball Without Border (BWB).
Al i s ema ma f u n z o h a y o anayokwenda kuhudhuria yapo chini ya NBA Afrika na wachezaji wote watakaocheza katika ligi kuu ya NBA wanahitajika.
Maluwe aliongeza kuwa kliniki hiyo ilipangwa kufanyika jijini Arusha, ambapo mikoa zaidi ya mitano ilitakiwa kushiriki ikiwemo Dar es Salaam,Kilimanjaro,Dodoma na visiwa vya Zanzibar.
Kliniki hiyo ambayo hufanyika kila mwaka, mwaka huu ilipangwa kufanyika Agosti 16 hadi 18 jijini Arusha na kushirikisha vijana wasiopungua 200

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
