Abaka, Awalawiti Watoto Akiwemo wa Kwake

KATIKA hali isiyo ya kawaida baba mwenye familia, mke na watoto, David Samwel (21) mkaazi wa Moivaro, Nkwandua wilaya ya Arumeru, mkoani Arusha, anadaiwa kuwabaka na kuwalawiti watoto wanne wa kike wenye umri wa miaka 6 na 7, akiwemo mtoto wake wa kumzaa kwa nyakati tofauti chumbani kwake.
Mtuhumiwa alitenda unyama huo kwa kumbaka pia mtoto wa mama mwenye nyumba wakati mkewe, akiwa ameenda kwenye biashara zake za kuuza mboga na kuwaacha watoto hao wakicheza nyumbani.
Akisimulia mkasa huo, mama mwenye nyumba, (jina tunalihifadhi) mwenye umri wa miaka 30 alisema, aligundua mwanae (jina limehifadhiwa) amebakwa wakati alipotaka kumkosha.
Alisema baada ya kumwita mtoto huyo, alikimbia na kwenda kujificha chumbani na alipomfuata aligoma kuvua nguo hali iliyomlazimu kumchapa ndipo alipomweleza alikuwa amefanyiwa mchezo mbaya na mtuhumiwa.

Baada ya kumuangalia sehemu za siri aligundua alikuwa ameharibika vibaya na sehemu zake za siri zimekuwa kama za mtu mzima, ndipo alipoamua kutoa taarifa kwa majirani ambao walifika na kuanza kumhoji mtoto huyo.
Mtoto huyo alisimulia jinsi mtuhumiwa alivyokuwa akitekeleza unyama huo kwa kuwabaka pia watoto wengine wa majirani ambapo kitendo hicho amekuwa akikitekeleza baada ya kuwapaka mafuta ya alizeti sehemu zao za siri (mbele na nyuma) na kisha kuwaingilia.
Hata hivyo, mtoto wa mama huyo aliwataja wenzake wanaofanyiwa mchezo huo na walipofuatwa walikiri na baada ya kuwapeleka hospitali ya wilaya Tengeru daktari aliewapima alithitisha wameingiliwa sehemu zote ila alisema hawakuambukizwa maradhi.
Watu wenye hasira walimshambulia mtuhumiwa huyo na kisha kumfikisha kituo cha polisi Tengeru.
Akisimulia jinsi walivyokuwa wakitendwa, mmoja wa watoto hao (jina linahifadhiwa) alisema mara kwa mara mtuhumiwa alikuwa akimtuma mtoto wake wa miaka 7 awaite wenzake na wanapofika chumbani huwaamuru kuvua nguo zote na kuanza kuwaingilia mmoja baada ya mwenzake.
“Tukifika chumbani hutuambia tuvue nguo halafu anatupaka mafuta ya alizeti na kutufanya tabia mbaya, mimi na mwenzangu (akamtaja jina),tulikuwa tunasikia maumivu lakini alituambia mbona Fulani (akataja jina la mtoto wake) hasikii maumivu,”alisema.
Alisema baada ya kumaliza huwanunulia pipi na kuwapa shilingi 200 huku akiwataka wasitoe siri.
“Mara ya kwanza tulipofika chumbani kwake tuliogopa ila alimleta mtoto wake na kumfanya tabia mbaya mbele yetu huku akituambia tuangalie jinsi ambavyo mwenzao (mtoto wake) hasikii maumivu,” alisema mtoto huyo.
Naye mwenyekiti wa serikali za mitaa, Moivaro, Josephat Laizer pamoja na kukerwa na tukio hilo alisema kama watamuachia, atawahamasisha wanachukua sheria mkononi kumwadabisha mtuhumiwa.
Kwa upande wa mke wa mtuhumiwa, alisikitishwa na kitendo cha mumewe kumwingilia na kumnajisi mtoto wao wa kuzaa na kusema huenda mumewe ana pepo la ngono.
Alisema alikuwa akimpa unyumba kama kawaida tena hata mara tatu kwa usiku mmoja.
Mtuhumiwa anatarajiwa kufikishwa mahakamani baada ya uchunguzi kukamilika.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas.
