Robert Griffin III from Baylor university College has made a impact in Washington DC like none could imagine. Growing up  with supreme discipline parented by his military minded family has set more than morals and great values for the rookie sensation, it woke up a whole nation of non-believers in the franchise that thought D.C. couldn't do it again.

Robert changed that when he came to Washington in the 2012 season running for a average of 6.8 yards per carry and throwing for 32,000 yards, and a QB ratio of 102.4. The Washington Redskins struggled in the 1st half o the season mid way through with a record of 3-6, to only bounce back ending the season 10-6. 

NFL.com tweeted the great news today saying: Robert Griffin III named 2012 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year. Very well deserve for a rookie that had the NFL defenses on their toes every game. A injured Robert Griffin III was stopped short due to a LCL/ ACL that slowed his progress and the redskins momentum against the Seattle Seahawks in the post season.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
