Serikali itakayo punguza au kumaliza changamoto zinazowakabili wanawake wanaofanya biashara mipakani mwa nchi






SERIKALI ya Jamuhuri ya Muungano nchini  imeshauriwa kutunga sheria itakayo punguza au kumaliza changamoto zinazowakabili wanawake wanaofanya biashara mipakani mwa nchi.

Hayo yamesemwa Dar es Salaam juzi  na wadau wa Mtandao wa Kijinsia Tanzania(TGNP ) ambapo ushauri huo umetolewa na washiriki wa mafunzo ya kuzingatia masuala ya  kijinsia katika biashara za mipakani yaliyoendeshwa na mtandao huo.
Baadhi ya changamoto zizoelezwa wakati wa mafunzo hayo ni zile zinazolenga kumdharirisha mwanamke awapo katika harakati za kuendesha biashara zake katika maeneo ya mipakani.
Moja ya changamoto zilizoelezwa  moja wapo ni kuombwa rushwa ya ngono ,upekuzi wa maungoni usio zingatia jinsi,mwanamke kupekuliwa na mwanaume na hivyo kushauri serikali iajiri ma askali wanawake katika mipaka hiyo kwa uwiano sawia kati ya mwanamke na mwanaume ili kisiwepo kisingizio,
Pia ni urasimu umeelezwa  kuwa ni changamoto nyingine kwa watumishi wa serikali waliopo mipakani kwa pande zote mbili yaani nchi na nchi hususani maaskari wanatuhumiwa kuwa na urasimu katika utoaji wa huduma na kutafuta visingizio na hatimaye mwanamke kujikuta ametoa rushwa ya ngono.
Hata hivyo imebainika kuwa wanawake wengi hawajiamini na hawafuati ama kusoma miongozo ya biashara sanjari na hilo wanawake hufanyiwa ukatili wa kijinsia wawapo mipakani.
Hivyo kupendekezwa kuwa watoa huduma mipakani wajengewe uwezo kuhusu biashara mipakani hivyo wizara washirika watoe elimu kulingana na kada zao mana biashara ni suala mtambuka ambapo hugusa sekta nyingi.
Kwa upande wake Ofisa Biashara kutoka Wizara ya Viwanda na Biashara Fredy Kakula alisema kuwa kuna kila sababu Serikali kutunga sheria itakayotoa Muongozo wakuendesha biashara mipakani kwa wanawake.
“Kwasasa tunaongozwa na sera,na sera yenyewe ilitungwa mwaka 2003 ni takribani miaka 15 sasa hatuna budi kutunga sheria na sera mpya dhidi ya wanawake wanaofanya biashara mipakani.Kakula alisema.
Naye Mhamasihaji toka TGNP Gemma Akilimali amewataka washiriki hao kwenda kupigia chapuo katika Wizara wanazo hudumu ili iweze kufanyiwa kazi haraka mana athari zitokanazo na ukatili wa mwanamke mfanya biashara mpakani zinaongezeka kila siku.
‘’Pamoja na TGNP kuchagiza katika hili bado mchango wenu ni mkubwa katika kufanikisha hili kwakuwa nyiynyi ndiyo mpo jikoni.
TGNP imekuwa ikitoa semina mbali mbali za kuwajengea uwezo makundi ya jinsia na kwa lika tofauti bila kujali kijana au ,mzee ama mwanamke au mwanaume.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas.
