Mbunge wa Mbeya Mjini amehukumiwa kufungwa jela miezi mitano

Mbunge wa Mbeya mjini kwa tiketi ya Chadema Joseph Mbilinyi kwa jina maarufu Sugu na mwenzake Katibu wa Chadema Kanda ya nyanda za juu kusini, Emmanuel Masonga wamehukumiwa kufungwa jela miezi mitano.

Wawili hao walikuwa wameshtakiwa kwa kosa la kutumia lugha ya matusi dhidi ya Rais John Magufuli.

Wanadaiwa kutenda kosa hilo kwenye mkutano wa hadhara uliofanyika mwezi Desemba mwaka mwaka jana jijini Mbeya.

Hukumu dhidi yao imetolewa na Mahakama ya hakimu mkazi jijini Mbeya.

Hati ya mashtaka imesema maneno waliyoyatamka yalienda kinyume na Sehemu 89(1) a ya Sheria za Jinai ambayo inaharamisha kutumiwa kwa lugha ya matusi.

Maneno hayo, hati za mashtaka zinasema, yangeweza kusababisha uvunjifu wa amani.

Uganda Police issue fresh terror alert

Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba “We have received a security notification in form of an orange notice of four terrorists originating from Kazakhstan who are planning to travel to foreign countries in order to commit attacks and participate in hostile acts,” Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba said in a statement on Monday. Nabakooba named the four active members of radical organizations as; Nassiruauly Kairat, Umurzakov Marat Eskendirovich, Kovtun Denis Valerevich and Mazhibayen Alimzhan Akhlazhanovich. Poland’s GROM special services mastermind found dead

Primary investigations point to suicide as the cause of death. It is expected that prosecutors will decide on an investigation into Petelicki’s death on Monday.
