Mbowe ashinda uenyekiti Chadema

Freeman Mbowe akiwasalimia wajumbe wa Mkutano Mkuu wa Chadema.

Mbowe ameshinda nafasi hiyo katika uchaguzi mkuu wa chama hicho uliofanyika katika Ukumbi wa Mlimani City jijini Dar es Salaam.

Nafasi ya Makamu Mwenyekiti Bara imechukuliwa na Prof. Abdallah Safari aliyepata kura 775 za ndiyo huku kura za hapana zikiwa 34 baada ya kuwa mgombea asiye na mpinzani.

Wajumbe wa Mkutano Mkuu wa Chadema wakifuatilia kikao hicho.

Makamu Mwenyekiti Zanzibar ni Said Issa Mohamed aliyepata jumla ya kura 645 huku mpinzani wake Hamad Mussa Yusuph akiambulia kura 163.

Mwenyekiti wa Chadema Freeman Mbowe akiwashukuru wajumbe wa Chadema kwa kumchagua kuwa mwenyekiti wa chama hicho.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
