(AllHipHop News) Chicago Hip-Hop star Kanye West will head to South Korea this August as part of the Summer Week & T music festival.

Kanye and Lupe Fiasco will headline the two-day concert, which will take place on Naksan Beach in the Yangyang County of Gangwon from August 6th-7th.

The Chicago rappers will be the featured acts in a lineup filled with popular dance and electronic artists.

Veteran group DJ DOC will hit the stage, along with Scottish Electropop artist Calvin Harris, The Quiet, Jazzy Ivy, One Soul Band, House Rules and others.

According to SK Telecom, the company organizing the festival, the aim of the event is to re-create the party atmosphere of the popular Spanish destination island, Ibiza.

Kanye West is putting the final touches on his upcoming album Good Ass Job, which will feature production from Kanye, Madlib, RZA and DJ Premier.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
