Not only does Jennifer Hudson star as Winnie Mandela in the upcoming
biopic, she also lends her powerful voice to the soundtrack. The Oscar
winner pours her heart out on “Bleed for Love” featuring South Africa’s
Soweto Gospel Choir. The big ballad was written by Diane Warren and
produced by Harvey Mason Jr., Laurent Eyquem, and David Franco.
“‘Bleed for Love’ has such an incredible and meaningful message about the power of love and the extension of the human heart,” said Hudson. “Diane wrote a beautiful song and it was an honor to work with her and the rest of the team to create this powerful piece of music.”
The Winnie Mandela soundtrack is available now, while the film hits theaters on Sept. 6.
Listen to J-Hud deliver chills with her stirring song.
