Waziri Mkuu kuongoza maadhimisho ya kihistoria ya Mtukufu Aga Khan, ni miaka 60 tangu asimikwe Imam wa Shia Ismaili

WAZIRI Mkuu wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Kassim Majaliwa, anatarajiwa kuwa mgeni rasmi katika maadhimisho ya miaka 60 tangu Mtukufu Aga Khan kusimikwa kuwa kiongozi (Imamu) wa madhehebu ya Shia Ismaili duniani.
Maadhimisho hayo yatakayofanyika kwa siku tatu kuanzia Jumatatu hadi Jumatano wiki ijayo yatatanguliwa na maonyesho ya shughuli mbalimbali zinazofanywa na mtandao wa taasisi za Aga Khan zilizopo hapa nchini.
Mratibu wa mawasiliano wa Baraza la Shia Ismaili Tanzania, Aly Ramji, amesema katika maadhimisho hayo pia kutafanyika matamasha mbalimbali ya utangulizi yatakayohusisha Watanzania wenye tamaduni mbalimbali, kabla ya kilele rasmi kitakachofanyika Julai 11, mwaka huu.
Mtandao wa Taasisi za Aga Khan nchini zinajumuisha Mfuko wa Aga Khan (AKF), Hospitali za Aga Khan (AKHS), Mtandao wa Maendeleo wa Aga Khan (AKDN) na Chuo Kikuu cha Aga Khan ambazo kwa pamoja malengo yake ni kupunguza umaskini na kuchochea maendeleo ya nchi.
“Kwa kuanzisha miradi ya maendeleo, kusaidia watu kuishi maisha bora na kuongeza fursa kwa ajili ya familia zao na watoto wao, Jumuiya ya Ismailia imepania kuifanya dunia sehemu salama, yenye amani na sehemu imara,” alisema.
Katika miradi yake, taasisi ya Aga Khan kupitia mfuko wake wa AKF pia imesaidia kuboresha maisha ya wakulima zaidi ya 100,000 kupitia vikundi vya kuweka na kukopa 9,200 nchi nzima.
Pia taasisi nyingine ya Chuo Kikuu cha Aga Khan nayo imekwishatoa nafasi za masomo ya shahada ya uzamili kwa Watanzania zaidi ya 250 na kutoa mafunzo mengine kwa wakufunzi wa vyuo wapatao 3,000.
Aga Khan alisimikwa kuwa kiongozi wa madhehebu ya Shia Ismaili mwaka 1957 akiwa na umri wa miaka 20 baada ya kifo cha babu yake ambaye alikuwa Imamu wa 49 wa madhehebu hayo.
Wafuasi wa madhehebu ya Shia Ismailia duniani wako katika nchi zaidi ya 25 zilizoko kwenye mabara ya Asia, Afrika, Mashariki ya Kati, Ulaya, Amerika Kaskazini na Australia.
 “Jumuiya ya Ismaili inaiona hii jubilee kuwa ni nafasi ya kutoa matumaini kwa ajili ya vizazi vya baadaye ambavyo viko hatarini kutengwa,” alisema Ramji.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection
