Mzee Liapinda amfagilia Profesa Tibaijuka

Mkazi  wa Mtaa wa Mamboleo B  wilayani Temeke,  Joseph Liapinda (84) amemsifu na kusimulia jinsi aliyekuwa Waziri wa Wizara ya Ardhi Nyumba na Makazi, ambaye kwa sasa ni Mbunge  Muleba Kusini  mkoani Kagera (CCM), Profesa  Anna Tibaijuka  alivyomsaidia kuokoa nyumba  yake iliyotaka kudhulumiwa.

Kauli imetolewa leo jijini Dar es Salaam katika Viwanja vya Karimjee alipokutana na Profesa Tibaijuka katika kuuaga Mwili wa aliyekuwa   Mbunge wa Korogwe Vijijini mkoani Tanga,Stephen Ngonyani ‘Profesa  Maji Marefu’ (CCM).

Liapinda amesema mwaka 2014 nyumba yake iliyoko Kata ya Sandali wilayani humo ilitaka kudhulumiwa na mtu aliyemruhusu kukaa bure kwa makubaliano ya kujenga choo akishirikiana na Mwenyekiti wa Serikali ya mtaa huo.

Amebainisha kuwa  mtu aliyekuwa akikaa kwenye nyumba yake hakujenga choo na mwenyekiti wa mtaa huo akishirikiana na mjumbe  wa nyumba kumi, Josephina Francis  walimpa namba feki ya nyumba iliyomwekeza kuwa sio yake.

Amesisitiza kuwa baada ya kufanyiwa kitendo hicho alianza kupigania haki yake kwa kwenda Makao makuu ya wizara husika ndipo alipokutana na Profesa Tibaijuka na kumueleza mkasa mzima ambapo Mbunge huyo alimpa barua yenye maelekezo iliyomtaka aende kwa aliyekuwa mkuu wa wilaya hiyo ambaye  sasa ni Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Songwe Chiku Galawa.

Amefafanua kuwa baada ya kwenda kwa mkuu wa wilaya huyo na kwamba yule aliekuwa amempa hifadhi katika nyumba yake alikamatwa na kuwekwa ndani na kurudishiwa nyumba hiyo katika himaya yake.

Amemshukuru Profesa Tibaijuka kwa kusema bila msaada wake nyumba yake asingeipata na kwamba anaishi na familia yake ya watoto sita pamoja na mkewe.

Kwa upande wake, Profesa Tibaijuka amempa shukrani mkazi huyo kwa kutambua mchango wake uliofanikisha kuokoa nyumba yake kwa wadhulumati na kumsisitiza aendelee kuishi kwa  amani.

Katika hatua nyingine, Profesa  Tibaijuka amesema ameupokea kwa masikitiko makubwa msiba wa Maji Marefu kwa kuwa alikuwa ni mtu msikivu, mwelewa na mjenga hoja bungeni.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
