Kaimu Rais wa Uraine, Oleksandr Turchynov,amewapa wapiganaji wanaounga mkono Urusi hadi mwisho wa leo Jumatatu kuondoka kutoka katika majengo ya serikali katika
miji ya mashariki mwa Nchi hiyo la sivyo wakabiliwe na jeshi la Ukraine wazalendo.
Bwana Turchynov amesema kuwa iwapo waasi hao hawatatii makataa hayo ya leo asubuhi, majeshi ya Ukraine yatatekeleza kile alichokitaja kuwa mashambulizi rasmi dhidi ya ugaidi.(MM)
Katika hotuba ya runinga, rais huyo wa muda amesema kuwa hatokubali kuona kilichofanyika Crimea mwezi uliopita kikirudiwa tena nchini mwake.
Huku hayo yakijiri ,Urusi imelaani tahadhari hiyo ya Bwana Turchynov , ikiishutumu serikali ya Ukraine kwa kutangaza vita dhidhi ya watu wake .
Urusi imepinga vikali tetesi za Marekani na Ukraine kuwa ndiyo inayochochea ghasia hizo na uasi katika miji iliyoko mashariki mwa Ukraine .
Urusi imesisitiza kuwa inataka kufanyike kwa mkutano wa dharura wa baraza la usalama la umoja wa mataifa katika kipindi cha saa chache zijazo.

Moscow imeomba umoja wa ulaya kuleta washirika wake walioko Ukraine kuwa chini ya udhibiti wake.
Ghasia na taharuki imetanda kote katika miji iliyoko mashariki mwa Ukraine huku waasi wakivamia majengo ya polisi na serikali wakiwa wamejihami kwa silaha kali.
Wapiganaji wanaounga mkono Urusi, wengi wao waliokuwa wamejihami, wanaendelea kushikilia majengo ya serikali mjini Slaviansk .
Wanahabari wa BBC waliokwenda Slaviansk, wamesema kwamba waasi wanaunga mkono kujiunga na Urusi wamejenga vizuizi na kuasha moto barabarani usiku kucha.
Picha za mtandao zaonesha ufyatulianaji risasi uliotokea wakati wa uvamizi huo wa vituo vya uma.
Afisa mmoja wa Ukraine anasemekana kupigwa risasi na kuuwawa.
Mjini Kharkiv, watu hamsini wamejeruhiwa huku makabiliano makali yakishuhudiwa katika mji wa Zapolrizhya.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
