BASATA :Ngoma Za Asili Zipo, Zina Hadhi Na Nafasi Kubwa


Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (BASATA) limesema kwamba,ngoma za asili bado zina hadhi na nafasi kubwa katika jamii zetu ingawa kwa maeneo ya mijini mwamko wa sanaa hiyo unaonekana kupungua tofauti na zamani.
Akizungumza kwenye Jukwaa la Sanaa linalofanyika kila wiki makao makuu ya Baraza hilo Ilala Sharif Shamba,Katibu Mtendaji wa BASATA,Ghonche Materego alisema kwamba,ngoma za asili zipo kama kawaida na zimekuwa na nafasi kubwa mikoani ambako zimekuwa zikivuta watu wengi.
“Kuna matamasha makubwa ya ngoma za asili kama yale ya Makuya, ya kale yanapokutana na ya sasa, Bujora na Chamwino.Matamasha haya yamekuwa yakivuta watu wengi sana hivyo,dhana kwamba ngoma za asili zimetoweka si sahihi” alisema Materego.
Aliongeza kwamba,kinachotokea kwa sasa ni athari za utandawazi kwenye ngoma za asili ambazo zimebadili upepo wa sanaa hiyo maeneo ya mijini lakini akasisitiza kwamba,bado hata maeneo ya mijini kuna vikundi vingi vya ngoma za asili vinavyofanya vizuri.
“Utandawazi kwa kiasi fulani umeathiri ngoma za asili hasa maeneo ya mijini lakini bado hata hivyo kuna vikundi vingi Baraza limevisajili na kuvisimamia mijini kama hiki kilichotuburudisha leo cha Jivunie Tanzania” Alisisitiza Materego.
Alitoa wito kwa wakuzaji sanaa kujikita kwenye kuandaa matamasha mbalimbali ya sanaa za asili ili kuzidi kuisambaza sanaa hiyo ambayo ni muhimu sana kwa utambulisho wa utamaduni wetu na kwa muda mrefu imelijengea heshima taifa letu.
“Ni kweli tuna matamasha mengi ya ngoma za asili lakini ni wazi juhudi nyingi zinahitajika ili kujenga mwamko zaidi katika sanaa hizi.Ni muhumu ikaeleweka kwamba,sanaa hizi zinabeba kila kitu ndani ya jamii” alimalizia Materego.
Kwa upande wake Mkurugenzi wa Kundi la Sanaa la Jivunie Tanzania,Bi.Mariam Ismail alisema kwamba, watanzania wasiache kupenda ngoma za asili na kupapatikia vitu vya nje kwani kufanya hivyo ni kupuuza malezi na historia za jamii zao.
Jukwaa la Sanaa kila mwisho wa mwezi linapambwa na burudani mbalimbali na kwa mwezi huu Kundi la Sanaa la Jivunie Tanzania kutoka Temeke Dar es Salaam lilitoa burudani kedekede za asili.

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts.
