Kuelekea katika Ufunguzi wa Michuano ya Kombe la Mataifa barani Afrika ‘AFCON’ Kampuni ya Multichoice Tanzania kupitia Kifurushi cha DStv Bomba imetoa tiketi sita kwa vijana wa Msanii wa Bongo Fleva,Naseeb Abdul ‘Diamond Platinum kwenda kushuhudia ufunguzi huo.
Ufunguzi huo wa michuano hiyo mikubwa Afrika, inatarajiwa kufanyika Januari 14, mwaka nchini huko ambako Dimaond amealikwa kwenda kutuimbuza.
Waziri wa Habari, Utamaduni, Sanaa na Michezo, Nape Nnauye alimkabidhi bendera ya taifa, Diamond kwa ajili ya kwenda kuipeperusha vyema Tanzania katika ufunguzi huo.
“Kikuweli nimpongeze Diamond kwa mwaliko alioupata wa kwenda kutumbuiza kwenye michuano mikubwa Afrika ya Afcon, siyo kitu kidogo kwake, ni nafasi ya yeye kujitangaza zaidi kimataifa, ninaamini wapo wasanii wengi wazuri Afrika, lakini kachaguliwa yeye hivyo anastaili pongezi,” alisema Nape.
Nape ndiye aliwaomba DStv kujitokeza na kudhamini safari ya wachezaji shoo wa Diamond na baadhi ya watu wa timu yake kwenda Afcon ili kuhakikisha anafanya shoo ya uhakika zaidi.Akizungumza na Waandishi wa Habari, Kaimu Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa DStv, Salum Salum alisema wametoa tiketi hizo kwa Diamond kwa lengo kukuza na kuendeleza vema tasnia ya filamu.“Tunathamini tasnia ya sanaa nchini kwa kupitia muziki na filamu, hivyo basi katika kutambua hilo tumetoa tiketi sita kwa kundi la WCB chini ya msanii Dimaond kwa ajili ya kwenda kwenye uzunduzi wa Afcon huko Gabon.
“Tumempatia tiketi hizo, baada ya kuomba udhamini wa tiketi hizo kwa ajili ya vijana wake sita atakaombatana nao kwenye shoo hiyo na kikubwa tunataka kuona Diamond anafunika ili atauwakirishe vema,” alisema Salum.DStv, ndiyo itaonyesha michuano hiyo mikubwa ya kimataifa kwa kifurushi chake cha bei cha chini kabisa kitakachopatikana kwa Shilingi 19, 975 tu.(P.T)

Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
