Towards the end of his life, the MLK that emerged was increasingly vocal about world matters such as the Viet Nam war, more militant and less patient, evidenced in a book “Why We Can't Wait.” Below is an example of the Dr. King that is rarely represented in our yearly celebration of his life and times. It deserves attention, because it adds to the allure of his complexity as a man and iconic figure.
