AHH Stray News: Tupac's Screenplay, Bumpy Knuckles & KRS, Salt Sells Mansion

(AllHipHop News) The rights to "Live 2 Tell," the only screenplay written by rapper Tupac Shakur have been acquired by Nstar Studios. "Live 2 Tell" is the screenplay Tupac wrote while he was serving 11 months in prison in 1995, on a gun charge. The movie revolves around a college student who becomes a drug boss. Afeni Shakur is executive producing the movie, which will begin production in 2012 with an $11 million dollar budget.

Bumpy Knuckles and KRS-One have announced the highly anticipated release of their collaborative album, Royalty Check. Bumpy Knucks and KRS recorded the album together in the recording studio. On the album, the two MC's address a variety of social issues, over Hip-Hop tracks rounded out by rock elements using live instruments. Royalty Check is due in stores on May 31st on Canadian-based label, 682 Records.

Rapper Cheryl "Salt" Wray of the legendary rap group Salt-N-Pepa is selling her mansion, located in Melville, New York. The Grammy Award winning, reality star/rapper, is asking $2.295 million for the mansion, which was built in 1996. According to Newsday, the 6,000 square-foot-house is located on a cul-de-sac and comes complete with a recording studio. Uganda Police issue fresh terror alert

Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba “We have received a security notification in form of an orange notice of four terrorists originating from Kazakhstan who are planning to travel to foreign countries in order to commit attacks and participate in hostile acts,” Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba said in a statement on Monday. Mushikiwabo to UN: Enhance civilian protection

By Eugene Kwibuka Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invest more energy in the prevention of conflicts for better protection of civilians living in conflict-torn areas. Rwanda’s Foreign minister, Louise Mushikiwabo Louise Mushikiwabo made the call during an open debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict which the UNSC held in New York on Tuesday. “Rwanda’s core message today is that enhancing the protection of civilians in armed conflict requires action before a conflict starts. The proliferation of non-state armed groups makes civilian protection both more urgent, and harder to achieve,” she said.
